Did you guys get to watch Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals? If you failed to do so, you just missed one of the greatest performance of an individual player in the history of the NBA.

Lebron James scored his team’s last 25 points bridging the 4th quarter, 1st OT and 2nd OT and he was just Jordanesque, hell let’s just call it Lebronesque and stop the freaking comparison. He’s gonna be a legend his own way.

He took step back jump shots, step back 3’s, insane drives to the hoop (including the final layup to win the game), any shot you can think about he did it like everybody in the Detroit team was 10 inches smaller than him. Man, that performance was sick! I could go on and on but hey, I’m no TNT or ESPN analyst so let’s just leave it at that.

My prediction? Cavs in six.

Anyway, enough about the NBA, right now I’m here at Dagupan (my girlfriend’s hometown). I visit here every month and she visits me in Manila also every month which makes our meetings twice a month. It’s a long term relationship but hey, it’s working! We haven’t had a fight for quite a while now so that’s pretty good.

Last night, we played badminton and I got beaten 21-12 by Ira. Yeah, I sucked and it’s because my knee acted up again. I couldn’t run and jump like I used to which is why I lost. (excuses excuses)

We also played tong-its (a card game for those ignorant people out there) and I also lost. Not really my lucky day but hey at least I’m with her. (i gotta run all the compliments that I can fish out since I know she will be reading this)

Today, we watched Pirates of the Carribean 3 and boy did it suck like hell. Somehow this year, movie sucking always come in 3’s. Spiderman 3 was not that bad if you pretend you didn’t watch the first and second installment. But hey, who on earth did not watch it right? So yeah, it sucked. Shrek 3 was short on both the length of the movie, and on the jokes. Pirates 3? Well, I almost fell asleep while watching the lead characters talking on and on about stuff I don’t really understand. If not for Keira, I would’ve had a good 2-3 hours sleep.

“What did he say?” I asked.

“I don’t know. I didn’t understand.” Ira answered.

“Damn I don’t understand a fucking thing.”

“Yeah, me too.”

“If it weren’t for Keira… I mean you… I’d be bailing out of this movie.”

“If it weren’t for who?”

“Oh look, it’s Legolas!”

It’s already 1:30 in the morning and my eyes are already getting droopy. G’night folks!
