Fantastic Four Minus One

Yesterday was Ira’s brother’s birthday so we celebrated it. From the title of this post you know how we did it so I’ll cut to the chase.

The movie was quite alright. It was quite short but not very disappointing as far as the movie plot is concerned. What was disappointing was the fact that Keira Knightley in a pirate suit covered with dirt was a lot hotter than Jessica Alba in:

1. The superhero spandex outfit of the foursome.
2. A wedding gown.
3. Naked.

And when a movie is capable of doing that to Jessica Alba, I believe it deserves to be given a very low rating. I give it 2 out of 5 stars, the two stars I gave to Torch’s military girl. She was quite hot.

The celebration was not over after the movie. We went over to the Spiral at the Philippine Plaza for our official birthday dinner. For those of you who don’t know, it’s an eat-all-you-can affair which is way way better than Saisaki. The price is also proportional to that if you know what I mean.

And so we feasted. Seafoods, steak, fish, etc etc. I could go on and on but I don’t want to make you guys hungry, especially if you’re reading this right after you ate, because you might wanna eat again. I was so damn full after the meal that I wanted to just lie down and go to sleep.

We were having fun taking pictures and chit-chatting. There was one thing that bothered me though during the course of that dinner. Nature kept calling me and I went to the toilet probably at least 6 times! I knew I shouldn’t have drunk that much Mountain Dew (while watching the movie) and water (while eating).

After the meal we went home and it was Ira’s other brother who drove the car. He reminded me of myself when I was just starting to learn how to drive. Scared? Me? Hell no! I wanted to overtake every single entity that I could see. As a result, I would accelerate so fast and then brake hard. Just like how Ira’s brother did. It could be fun for the driver, but it could be hell for the passengers. Understandable, but you better be doing this only when you’re driving alone.

That pretty sums up the day/night we had yesterday. Ira’s going back to Dagupan today and I’ve also got work. You know how this day will end. Boringly is the word. Talk about double knockout.

Later.
