You guys ever had a road rage? No I didn’t have one earlier. Although I had a pretty good share of road rages before.

You see, road rage happens when something just kind of possesses you and you go from cruising at 80kph to overspeeding at 150kph, along the roads of EDSA at that, with a stock 1995 1.6 Corolla at that. I used to do that, but recently, I’ve calmed down. Although I would still rage sometimes, I tend to slow down after a few minutes or so. The reason probably lies at the fact that I have been driving pretty frequently now. Before, I only get to drive during the weekends and it’s also at a controlled environment, meaning I have passengers. I can’t go beyond 80kph or I’ll have an earful. So whenever I get to drive by myself, I kinda let it loose.

Recently, I’ve been driving to work almost everyday because we have an extra car right now. No, we didn’t buy a new one. One of the agents in our business resigned and she’s the one who uses that car. Since no one is using it at the moment, I get to drive it.

By the way, last week was Ira’s pop’s birthday. We went to eat at Circles at Makati Shangri-la Hotel. It’s a buffet of all kinds of food. Italian, Indian, American, Japanese, Chinese, etc. My verdict? Not impressed. Spiral is way better compared to this, although the price to pay is a little steeper. It’s P1200 at Circles and around P1800 at Spiral.

Afterwards we went over to the casino. We spent more time watching other people play than really play ourselves. Ira’s father lost a pretty huge sum of money in the baccarat. Pretty bad “gift” for a birthday huh? How much? Nope, I ain’t gonna say.

Me and Ira’s anniversary are coming soon. I already got us a reservation at Highlands Steakhouse at Mall Of Asia. I’ve been saving up for this. I still need to buy her a present though. I can’t think of anything yet at the moment.

Oh man it’s the fuck shift again. Gotta go back to work.
