You heard me right! There is no typo in this entry’s title. While perusing through some NBA articles on my fuck shift here at work, I came across a very interesting one. You see, the NBA is already trying to try it’s luck in China right now and the commissioner, David Stern said that a regular season game in China is not far fetched anymore. In addition to that, the commish is also open to the possibility of holding an NBA game in the Philippines due to the fact that Filipinos really love basketball and it is the country’s most popular sport. Quoting from the article…

“Meanwhile, this isn’t the only Asian country Stern has his eye on. He also left open the possibility of going to The Philippines, which under the radar has become a very promising market.”

Whoo boy I’m so excited! Even if it’s not my favorite team playing, I’m gonna do what it takes to watch that game!

Now, the only thing the Philippines need to do is build a stadium that the NBA commish will find suitable for an NBA game. The stadium’s technology has to be at par with the stadiums in the US. This one’s not too far fetched either! I mean, we are not that far behind when it comes to technology. It’s just that the country’s budget falls into the politician’s pockets more than into projects and other needed stuff.
